Paddy Waltone was born in Hollywood, CA. At the age of 3 he picked up a guitar that was lying around the house and began picking. Shortly thereafter he began performing "De Colores" with his sister, Angela singing. He was now a picker! Although Paddy's parents encouraged him along the way, he credits his great-grandfather, Pink Skinner, for his musical ability.

In elementary school, together with younger brother Kevin Anthony Walton playing bass and singing, and childhood friend Robby Nicolas (A.K.A. "Ybbor Salocin", current Syrups drummer), they started planning their first band, "Light Speed". The band truly came to fruition during junior high school; they continued gigging and recording throughout high school.  (more)
