Robby was born and raised in Arcadia, CA. He started drumming on things before he could walk. As a small child he would turn over all the trash cans in the house and drum on them with his Mom's wooden spoons. When he was 6 years old and his parents had grown tired of garbage on their floors, he was given his first drum set and he's been banging on drums ever since.

In junior high school Robby, Pat, and Kevin Walton formed their first band together and played together on and off through junior high and high School.

In Late 2006 Robby was reunited musically with Pat Walton and younger brother Orion Kevin Walton when Robby joined The Syrups.
